I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) and Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). Being a full member of these associations demonstrates that I have a nationally recognised Diploma in Reflexology, Certificates in Indian head massage and Aromatherapy Massage.
As an AoR/FHT member:
- I am bound by the AoR/FHT Code of Practice and Ethics.
- I follow the AoR/FHT Good Practice Policy and hygiene guidance to ensure client safety.
- I will always be adequately insured for medical malpractice /professional indemnity requirements. The industry standard is in excess of £5 million cover.
- I comply with the AoR/FHT Continuing Professional Development requirements which ensures my practice is kept up to date.
- I am compliant with GDPR data protection, please see my separate Privacy policy. Your information will remain confidential at all times.
- As a professional and highly qualified reflexologist with AOR status, I will provide you with the appropriate bespoke treatment and support.
1. Appointments
- Please note my services are only available to FEMALE CLIENTS as stated on the website.
- New clients will be required to have a short phone consultation a week prior to their appointment to check for any contraindications and gauge expectations for treatment.
2. Medical conditions
- I do not claim to diagnose or cure medical conditions and treatments should not be used as an alternative to seeking medical advice.
- Clients are required to fill in a medical form prior to their first treatment, please fill this in accurately so I can treat you safely and adapt treatments as necessary. I cannot treat anyone who refuses to fill in this form, this will lead to you having to pay in full for the session.
- I will check at every session any changes to your medical form but please do check ahead of time if you have significant changes medically, become pregnant, have surgery, hospital stay or are diagnosed with a new condition – failing to do so could result in me not being able to treat you and still being charged for a session.
- I have health requests of my clients as follows:
- If you have a cough, a fever, any infectious disease, fungal infection or recent surgery please contact me as we may need to postpone your treatment.
- I too will apply these standards to myself. Should I feel unwell, unable to treat you I will contact as soon as possible to reschedule your treatment.
3. Children
- Children under the age of 16 are welcome if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will be asked to give signed consent to treatment. They will be asked to remain present for the duration of the agreed treatment.
4. Payment Policy
- My fees are outlined on my website and booking page.
- My fees are either payable in advance as part of a treatment package or in full at the time of booking or on the day of treatment either cash, card or balance transfer.
5. Cancellation Policy
- I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. As you are aware my business is dependent on the number of clients I can see in my clinic hours. Therefore, if you are unable to make a previously arranged appointment, I request that you provide me with at least 24 hours notice. This will allow me the option to re book the time slot with someone on my waiting list.
- With at least 24 hours’ notice I will reschedule your appointment and no fee will apply
- Less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% fee of the full treatment value.
- No shows * will incur a 100% fee of the full treatment value. *A no show is when someone doesn’t arrive for their treatment.
- If you are running late, please notify me by email or text/call so I can plan your treatment accordingly, this might involve decreasing treatment time or rearranging your appointment. Should the treatment be cut short/need to be rescheduled you will still be charged the full amount.
6. Treatment packages
- I offer the option to book a package of treatments. These are provided at a reduced price as they are paid for in advance.
- These treatments can be booked during my normal working hours with no restrictions.
- Where an appointment is booked and missed, my cancellation policy above will apply and an amount will be deducted from those remaining.
- These treatments have to be used within one year.
7. Vouchers
- I supply the option to buy vouchers for treatments. These may be given as gifts, please note I offer treatments to FEMALES ONLY.
- These treatments can be booked during my normal working hours with no restrictions.
- Where an appointment is booked and missed, my cancellation policy above will apply and part or all of the voucher may be lost.
- Vouchers are non-refundable.
8. Privacy Policy
- I will NOT share your details with any third part, unless you’ve been referred to me as part of a scheme or unless I have a legal requirement to do so or there is a safeguarding issue.

9. Use of background music
- I only play Royalty free music within my business and therefore I am not required to have The Music Licence.
- Unless you are in your own home, I am unable to play your preferred music selection.
